Gene mapping by FISH (left) and by linkage analysis (right)

The purpose of our research and education on animal breeding and genetics using biochemistry, molecular science, and statistical genetics is to improve the various important traits while maintaining the genetic diversity of animal populations. Recently, we have focused on genome wide association study to identify chromosomal regions and candidate genes for various bovine economic traits.
