Introduction of research results

Our highly developed civilization is supported with various synthesized materials. Various medicines contribute to our health and agrochemicals contribute to the stable food supply. Chemical syntheses of these useful materials are usually accomplished by a combination of chemical reactions. However, these can sometimes have negative side effects, such as producing harmful waste. This means that many of the present methods are unsatisfactory, and some improvements are required. We are studying the development of new, effective, and eco-friendly methods to synthesize useful organic compounds, and we think that our studies will help provide good solutions to the problems described above.
